New VP Global Marketing Joins MARKT-PILOT to Drive Global Growth

MARKT-PILOT appoints Shervin Esfahani as VP Global Marketing to advance innovation, foster collaboration, and transform OEM aftermarket growth.

Chicago, 5. September 2025 – MARKT-PILOT, a leading provider of market-based spare parts pricing intelligence for machine manufacturers (OEMs), today announced the appointment of Shervin Esfahani as Vice President of Global Marketing. Esfahani, who joined the company in late July, will lead global marketing strategy and execution as the company scales its international presence across Europe and North America. 

Experienced Leader with a Strong Track Record 

Bringing over 15 years of marketing leadership experience across B2B, B2G, and B2C sectors, Esfahani has deep expertise in AI and SaaS growth strategies. Before joining MARKT-PILOT, he served as Chief Marketing Officer at Rekor Systems (NASDAQ: REKR), where he helped transform the company from a niche hardware provider into a global leader in AI-driven roadway intelligence. Over nearly five years at Rekor, he scaled a full-stack marketing organization that supported record-breaking revenue growth. 

Esfahani holds an MBA from the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Loyola University Chicago. With a foundation in NIH-funded biomedical research and a STEM background, he brings a data-driven, scientific mindset to marketing and organizational leadership.

In the near term, Esfahani will concentrate on strengthening the marketing organization by clarifying roles, creating accountability, and aligning strategy across the company. His priorities also include accelerating pipeline generation in North America, sharpening market positioning so that customers clearly understand how MARKT-PILOT is different, and building tighter collaboration with sales, product, and customer success teams.

Looking back on his career, Esfahani names two achievements that he is most proud of: building marketing teams that outlast him, becoming strategic engines of growth rather than cost centers; and successfully positioning companies to “punch above their weight” and establish themselves as world-class leaders. 

At MARKT-PILOT, he plans to foster innovation with a philosophy of open collaboration and creative risk-taking. “Innovation comes from honest, transparent, and cross-functional collaboration. Tight alignment between marketing, product, sales, and customer success allows us to shape products and go-to-market strategies more effectively. I tell my teams I want them to fail, because it means they’re trying new things. The key is to learn quickly and adjust.”
